    Sharpen your Google AdWords campaign Home business comes with experience

    When you are in a position to find information on online, where to start your search? I guess you said Google. No doubt that Google is the 800 pound gorilla of search engines – and by far one the most popular websites and most used worldwide. It is time for you as owner of a home based business, to fully enter Google and use what is commonly is called the greatest marketing tool and advertising ever created: AdWords.

    There is much lower, many wonderful resources that have been written and published in Google AdWords and best practices. So we will not reinvent the wheel in this article. What I do is discuss a variety of AdWords features discovered by myself have not seen discussed in any article. These are some things you should be aware and take into account when setting up an AdWords account to your choice.

    First, I just wanted to mention that to become proficient in Google AdWords is very similar to becoming a good auto mechanic – you can read all the books and articles want AdWords to, but never really learn and master it until it roll up and get the "dirty hands".

    In the same way that a mechanic may have attended school and has read many books on the subject of cars and engines, a mechanic is not real until you get your hands dirty and working on a car.

    That said, Here are 4 things that I found on AdWords only after I started using it:

    1) Google will not allow "no non-standard punctuation "in any ads. punctuation-standard is described as: tilde (~), asterisk (*) or vertical (|). The funny thing is good, I discovered when I met with an ad that does not contain these elements. The announcement had tried to run a caption that read: "Lost job? So What!"

    Even if I was not able to see how and where a question mark or exclamation point, are considered "non-standard punctuation, I had to change the sign exclamation point to a period for the announcement to be accepted. I'm pretty sure I saw this exact same punctuation other ads in the past. But, Google changes Occasionally their rules so that you only need to make sure it is still within acceptable operating parameters AdWords.

    2) Google does not allow excessive punctuation like exclamation points (!!!). I found an ad once a point I wanted to focus and chose to do it with three exclamation points. Al it violated a policy and I had to change my AdWords ad to reflect an exclamation point.

    3) Including a direct call to action in his announcement is a no-no. Statements such as "click here" or "go now" are not allowed in listings. You can prevent that person saying something well as details on the next page "in the ad.

    4) When creating your ad, enter both a network address and display Address websites. The Google user will not see the destination address, we will see that the Web address in your ad. Destination address where the user is taken if click on your link. The screen of the web address should be a real working web address.

    This can make a lot of sense on the surface. After all, why would anyone want to see anything other than a working Internet address? Well, consider this: I have a website that was promoting one of my AdWords accounts. The actual web address is being promoted http://www.RidForeclosure.com but I opted for the direction of published screenplays just to make it easier for the user to read. I thought it was easier to read Diamond Sports Foreclosure.com. Of course, if my relationship was clicked, the user took my real website (address without the hyphen). That Kinda makes sense, right?

    But because my real page address is not a script This post has been rejected. Instead http://www.RidForeclosure.com I wanted to display in Sports Diamond Foreclosure.com but Google finds unacceptable.

    The above are just examples of things I learned about AdWords Google's only experience had taught me. This is what I meant when I said you is not really in control of AdWords once you start using it.

    I'm sure there may be many other nuances of AdWords that I am not yet familiar with what I discover in time. In addition, Google changes its rules and requirements from time to time for what was right yesterday may not necessarily be the case today.

    Establish an effective reality, robust AdWords campaign is much an art and a science. Continuing education, the use and discovery is what I have found that three key for effective use of my Google AdWords account.

    For those who may be intimidated or overwhelmed by it all, you may want to work with Google AdWords consultant to help you configure your account.
